Celebrating 10 years of Oli and Birthe!

We are not getting married, but that doesn't stop us. We are still celebrating.
With the whole shebang!

We are starting Friday night with a casual dinner for all friends already in town, followed by a big celebration on Saturday night: After a rooftop reception we hope that you will join us for a festive dinner and a night of dancing.

On Sunday, we are inviting you for breakfast (if you're up and standing again).

Dresscode: Be pretty!

Locations

Our celebration on Saturday night will take place at Malzfabrik, Berlin, the old malthouse of Schultheiß Brewery. The malthouse was in operation from 1926-1996.

Malzfabrik is located in the South of Berlin, close to the Südkreuz station.

We will announce locations for Friday night and Sunday morning shortly.

Accomodation

Berlin offers a large number of hotels in all districts of town. We recommend all of you to stay in Mitte. While you would be a bit further away from Malzfabrik, Mitte is conveniently located for all other excursions in Berlin. Should your baby need a place to sleep on site at Malzfabrik, please get in touch with us.

Below you will find a few links to various accomodation options, all conveniently located close to each other in Mitte:

Transportation

Berlin hat has two airports: Tegel (TXL) and Schönefeld (SXF), from both airports you can reach the city center in max. 45 minutes by train, bus, or taxi. Schönefeld is home to a large number of low-cost carriers. Of course, you can also reach Berlin by train or car.

On Saturday, it is best to come to Malzfabrik using a cab (approx. 22 Euro from the city center). You can also use public transportation, the next bus stop is called "Schöneberger Straße" (about 700m), the next stop of the S-Bahn (local train) is "Südkreuz" (about 1km away).

There is currently no Uber service in Berlin. For taxis, we recommend to use the MyTaxi or Taxi.EU apps. Particularly MyTaxi provides an Uber-like experience and allows to pay your ride through the app. Alternatively, you can call a cab at +4930210101. All taxis are required to accept credit cards - yet many don't. If you want to pay with credit cards, please make sure to explicitly ask for a taxi accepting credit cards.

You can find all necessary information about public transport options and tickes at bvg.de (in English).
